Lunch, Japanese style, and LJ Talk bug

Today has been rushed, but very nice. I had the hairdresser (my hair is now not an inch too long and therefore much less annoying), Sarah Jane got her new key fob that actually works, I picked up a birthday present for a friend and I spent a wonderful few hours lunching with historyterry. We checked out the new Japanese restaurant in town and I can confirm that it's very good - plenty of stuff for vegans and vegies, reasonable prices and good portion sizes. Yummy.

And now I am attempting to do college work (Parlez-vois francais? Non?) and get something onto paper for femslash07. Remind me again why I thought it was a good idea to join a ficathon?

Anyone else had this appear when logging into the Gizmo Project client? Is it time to start looking into Trillian after all?

But enough of that. Must write. Without eating chocolate...nah, need chocolate.

Admittedly, it's four hours after you posted, and I'm using Gaim (since it supports both Jabber and MSN simultaneously). But everything's working for me...

Well, Gizmo still isn't working but I've been able to log in using a trial version of Trillian Pro. Probably not a database error, although the on the forum where I posted a question about this another user has also reported the same error. Which means that it could be a Gizmo problem rather than an LJ Talk problem.

I may actually decide to pay out to keep the Pro version of Trillian because it's a rather nice program. Except it doesn't seem to like sending messages to Google Talk...
