Dec. 22nd, 2006 09:25 amI love LJ's autosave - lost power when writing this post and it's still here! In fact, we lost power around 10 times in a thirty minute period. The first couple of times, I turned the computer on when power returned only to have it die just as it had finished logging in. Then I got smart and waitied. Power has been on for ten minutes now so we're taking the chance and assuming it's going to stay. Heh. What a good timing for it! Onto the original post...
It's the last working day before Christmas for me - woohoo!! Even better, I'm only working on one day between now and New Year so I'll be off work for nearly a week, back for a day and then off for another three days :-) Obviously, this is a very, very good thing.
It's possible that I'll be getting to leave early, but with the way things have been around here (and baring in mind the time now lost to powercuts) I'm not holding my breath. I still have to get presents wrapped and do the running around like a headless chicken thing even though I'm remarkably organised this year. Mother has been cleaning anything that's not nailed down (and more than a few things that were...) and Father is still trying to work out what to buy for her. So it's Christmas as usual :-)
I still have no identity on the mystery present. Very frustrating.
