Monday morning blah

selenayToday is shaping up to be icky. Very, very icky. This is mainly due to a total stuff up on the data warehouse I use (what else is new?) that's destined to ruin what I'd been hoping would be a good day. No boss, nice routine work to do with new tunes on my iPod (I'm still loading my CDs - who knew I actually had so many?) and hopefully home nice and early for a quiet evening putting in updates on the fandom newsletter index and working on the Quaker website.
Why did I get so hopeful about this?
I must also work to avoid all spoilers for the new episode of Torchwood because the 10pm start was just that little bit too late for me. With a 5.30am wake-up, going to bed at 11pm on a Sunday night is a really bad idea. That way leads to tiredness and Sel being stupid. Never a good plan.
Hopefully there will be Torchwood watching in the next couple of days, or at latest the Wednesday repeat, so that I can join in with the squee that I'm currently trying to avoid.
I am now going to return to watching things not working and reports not doing anything. I'm guessing that I'll have several hours of boredom followed by two hours of insanity today. Bleh.
