Choppy weather out there!

selenayAs I mentioned yesterday, today we go travelling starting with a ferry trip from Digby to St John, New Brunswick.
Or that was the plan. We've got rather high winds which means the ferry crossing will be very bumpy. I have no problems with that, but my father gets sea-sick on water that's barely moving so he'll be thoroughly miserable. We've decided to take the land route instead through the mountain pass. It's not quite as convenient, but at least Da won't be throwing up for several hours!
In honour of the long car journey ahead of me, I slipped getting out of the bath this morning. I'm rather bruised down my left side and have jarred my back. Go me! So I'm now stuffing painkillers into my travel bag, just in case.

rageprufrock, I've got plenty of snacks and my aunt has leant my a nice little lap blanket. So I'm all set and shall enjoy my days on the road. Back Wednesday, so I'll update my travels then.
