Weekendy activities

selenayThis has been a really good weekend. I managed to finish the written section of my end of course French assessment and it's now in an envelope for posting tomorrow. The best bit was that I got it finished much earlier on Saturday than I'd expected (larely due to two hours of work Friday evening), so I got to spend the day with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
terrlybirch, yragg and sazzle_02 rather than just seeing them briefly in the evening. It was a fabulous day, finished off with my first trip to Return to the Forbidden Planet which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Today I did a little bit of work prepping for next week's aural exam (er, twenty minutes...) and then goofed off to do a bit of work on a new project: an index of fandom newsletters.paranoidangel42 has added a ton of communities to my stash of them, so it's going to be rather a long list when it's finished. I'm half way through coding the page up and I'll post it around when it's finished.
I think that I've worked out how to turn MP3s into files that can be used like audiobooks on my iPod - very handy for the podfic I want to listen to when I'm away. I've also got some info on importing audio CDs in that format, too. If they work as intended, I'll post the links for the interested. The feature that really interests me here is being able to bookmark where I've got to in a recording and go back to it later - handy if I decide to listen to some music midway through a book.
I keep feeling as though there are other things that I should have got finished today, but it's all running away from me. So obviously I need to spend some quality time with the TV tonight instead of worrying.
