Daffy morning

There is a thing known as fibrofog. It's where people with fibromyalgia are so tired their brains go foggy and they start doing stupid things.

Guess who got some petrol, got to the payment desk and remembered that she'd left her credit cards sitting by her computer?

My lovely mother was able to read out the credit card number so that the petrol guys could process the payment (and avoid the neccessity to talking to the police about non-payment...), but how stupid was that? Today is obviously not going to be my day :-)

I sympathize, I really do, I know how bad mine can get, so you have my every sympathy. Not that this will probably help, but petrol stations have a book called 'Drive offs' they just take your name and address and number plate and you can go back later :D

I bet you are now wondering how I know...lol

No, that does help - reassuring to know that should this happen again (god, I hope it doesn't) they won't be calling the police :-) The attendant just kept asking if I was sure that I had no way of paying and then suggested that if someone was home, I could get them to tell me my details.

I bet you are now wondering how I know...lol

Hopefully my brain will return tomorrow and I won't get myself into quite that much trouble again. I was repeatedly doing stupid things at work and overlooking the obvious (not helpful when attempting to show off Mad Programming Skillz TM) so it's not been one of the smoothest days...
