Random observation
Jul. 11th, 2006 12:55 pmIt's possibly a sign that I've been in fandom far too long when the
phrase "still not King" brings an immediate smile. And I'm still
grinning five minutes later.
Possibly it's also a sign that I've finally lost it.
I haven't seen PotC yet. This makes me sad. But Da has promised to
take me on Friday because he is wonderful, which makes me happy. 'Cos
I really need my silly pirate movie. We may take Mom. Possibly. If she
behaves and promises not to drool to much over Orlando Bloom or mourn
his lack of blond elf-ness too loudly.
Today's work idiocy involves email systems being randomly down
(possibly related to yesterday's sudden email purge - the emails still
haven't returned) so we've had to resort to using our
hotmail/gmail/ntl home accounts when sending out vital reports. Wooo!
At the moment my server is up, but a guy with an important
contribution to today's big report had to send it via his webmail
account. If the attachment he was trying to send had been 20K bigger,
it would have had to be sent to my Gmail account to prevent the
company stripping the attachment. Don't I just work for the most
advanced company ever?
