Back at work :-(
Mar. 27th, 2006 07:36 pmBack to work today and I'm feeling...
Got told to pack up and go home at 3.30pm today because I look exhausted. I had borrowed Mom's car (an automatic, unlike poor manual Baby) but I still could barely move when I got home. Ended up lying on my bed with a pillow under my knees for around an hour and a half. Got to watch Paul O'Grady (surprised myself by actually enjoying a chat show) and fell asleep during the news. Mom woke me up for supper and I'm feeling much better now. Hope tomorrow at work is better.
Da is still with the walking stick. Looking better, but still rather pathetic. Poor guy. My aunt arrived in Canada safely, despite a long wait because some idiot didn't bother to finish refueling the plane so they had to wait for a new crew to finish the job!
Hydrotherapy tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to it. Mainly because the idea of being suspended in water where nothing hurts as much really, really appeals right now. Da Boss at work took one look at me and declared that I'm not going into store to help over Easter (yay!) and he will be backing me up on getting a workplace assessment done to make sure that the company isn't responsible for my current state.
The bad bit this morning was getting in and finding that someone had broken my chair while I was away. I have 'aquired' a new chair and will be keeping my head down if anyone asks questions...
I should write. I want to write. I'm probably going to play with Sims instead.
