My computer had decided that it doesn't like Geocities sites. Grr. This means that I currently cannot write the review I want to for kylielee1000's lovely fic 'Arrom' and have instead bookmarked the post for later use. If my computer (or BT, it could either) hasn't returned to normal by the end of the month then I may have to use her LJ post as the link in the review because I must review it. I didn't think that I'd like a Daniel/Jonas fic, but I did and now I am pouting about the irrationality of denying me access to Geocities. Buh.

I'm also pouting because I live on the wrong side of the Atlantic and must wait months before New Order (new SG! new SG!) arrives here in a format that is not squinty vision. This year, I'm being ethical and not d/l-ing the eps. I think.

And now I must go and watch a documentary on the history of the sword so that I can be scarily knowledgeable about weaponry for an avowed pacifist. It's research for my writing!

That's my excuse, anyway :-)

Yeah, use the LJ post. I've edited my geocities site to link to LJ so people can comment anyway. The only plus about linking to geocities is that I can then track hits.

Plus, if you're being denied access to geocities, you're probably not the only one. Thus linking to LJ would be good, although apparently LJ is being odd lately.

Or is it your browser? If you're using IE, stop immediately and go download Mozilla. It squashes pop-ups, so you can actually see the content; and it lets you have multiple pages open in the same copy of the browser, instead of spawning a new copy of the browser for each page. It is very stable and I pimp it every chance I get. It also doesn't suffer from hideous security bugs. Version 1.7 is the one to get.

Anytime someone reads a Jonasfic, I feel all happy. And if you like it? Bonus. (Feel free to quibble all you want, btw....)

That's probably the route I'm going to go. After all, the LJ post has the link to your website as well so people who can get Geocities can access it there. I'm hoping they've got the LJ probs sorted.

Already ahead of you - I'm using Firefox, which is lovely *g* I suspect it's my connection or something, because I had no problems with Geocities sites using either IE or FF a couple of weeks ago. Grrr. Crappy BT.

Not going to quibble *g* I thought I was going to loathe him and have ended up quite liking him instead. I'm probably going to be wandering out to look for Jonasfics in the future *g*

::snicker:: I've come over all ethical this year. I have no idea what happened because usually illegal downloads are my carrots for getting evil college work finished. I will be getting the actual J/D slashy snarky goodness on my beautiful big TV in September where I can see their faces well enough to analyse every snark. I'm just being strange and ethical.

Terry doesn't have to pay international dialling rates to talk to me on the phone and, from the end of the month, she'll also be living just down the road from me *g* We could try the talking on the phone thing the next time I'm in Canada - which won't be for another year ::pout::

I was going to ask how you knew that Terry called, but then I remembered that she probably called during the chat *g* Colour me a little slow. I was watching Alias at the time, which is a large part of the reason I don't appear in the Sunday night chats. They keep putting shows I like on at 9pm *g*
