::snicker:: Oh, how true the babbling thing is. And possibly the psychotic ramblings.

I did lots of nice work today and had absolutely no feedback for the draft of something that I put up for my college group project. As this is a group portion of the project, I sort of expected someone would at least say "whee, nice, go with it" or (even more helpfully) "urk, please use a different quote/replace the third paragraph/spell Internet properly". But no. I checked the history and everyone has read the draft (yesterday) and has not deigned to say anything. And people wonder why I hate group projects?

And while I'm in a ranty mood, I noticed someone posting to one of the lists I'm on (er, people may guess which list but I'm not naming it) to ask why no one had replied to their fanfic. I presume this is a thoroughly unsubtle way of asking why no one had feedback-ed them.

If your fanfic was worth writing feedback for, my dear, then I'm sure someone would have. Unfortunately, you've probably offended so many people with your crappy spelling and zero researched BDSM, not to mention your ego-driven drivel-ridden chat posts, that nobody even wants to take the time to suggest you get a beta reader. Guh.

I want to go to a con. I know that I have SG-8 in November, but Toronto Trek sound so fun and I miss the joy of cons. Unfortunately, counting the days until SG-8 means counting the days until my research project has to be submitted and that would just panic me.

I am also incredibly thirsty, have been all day, and no amount of water makes me feel better. Grr.
