Yesterday was worse than I originally estimated. Today is shaping up to be...bleh.

Can I go home yet? And why did I think this whole career/job concept was so cool anyway?

Thanks, hon. I'm just feeling a little grouchy and harrassed right now - hopefully tomorrow some of that will be gone.

Perhaps you need to turn all the payslips in to a little booklet that you could leaf through, looking at the net pay which hit your account...

(Don't look at the gross element though, you'll only work out your tax burden and that'll get depressing again!)

*snort* Nice idea :-) Of course, they'd have to send us readable pay slips first. I live in cheerful ignorance of my tax burden and hope to hell that they're not ripping me off - everyone else in the department is in the same boat.
