Christmas greetings!

As is traditional, it's Christmas Eve and I'm leaving for mass in an hour so I've just finished my wrapping. Yay! Gifts are under the tree ready for tomorrow, decked in ribbons and hopefully all labelled. The tree already seems to have a lot of gifts under and my parents and sister haven't put their contributions in yet. Turkey is defrosting, various other lunch items are in the fridge ready to be put in the oven and all that we have to do tomorrow is peel vegetables. Sis is at the pub with friends and will be appearing at mass later, Mom and I are mostly ready. Tomorrow we'll be at church in the morning, followed by lunch (which takes a long time - we're leisurely eaters and we like to talk *g*) and then presents before settling down to watch Doctor Who. It's going to be lovely.

All that remains is for me to wish everyone on my f-list (and anyone reading who hasn't introducted themselves...) a very, very happy Christmas. May you receive everything that you deserve and have a wonderful day, wherever you are.

I had planned to have a Teyla/Weir fic finished as my gift. Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon got lost somewhere - the office closed at lunch time and I only planned to lie down for half an hour to rest my hip, but ended up sleeping for the whole afternoon. Oops. They Teyla/Weir thing will be finished and up within the next couple of days - I'll call it a belated gifty thing. Anyone following these fics should enjoy it *eg*

I was surfing through your friends list the other day and ended up, through your tags, at links to the other Teyla/Weir ones you'd done. I thought as I quite like both of them now I'd have a read, and I quite enjoyed them. I didn't quite make it to the end of Dream Lover, but I really liked Midnight, but then I do tend to like the 'want but can't have' sort of thing.
