I is not dead *nods*

So far, my big report production has not killed me and is going smoothly.

My hip has decided to give me a day off, with pain down to a bit of a twinge rather than full-on walking stick required pain.

The old friend who tracked me down through Friends Reunited contaced me again over the weekend and we're hoping to meet up after New Year.

I have actually been sleeping properly for the last few nights.

I actually felt happy and comfortable in the church when I went to a carol service on Sunday, for the first time in several years.

When will that other shoe drop?

Ideally, never!

I went to a carols service on Saturday and it was beautiful. I found so much hope.

I never feel as though Christmas has really begun until I've been to a carol concert. And Christmas Day wouldn't feel right without midnight mass the night before and a church service in the morning. There's a sense of peace and hope that goes out with you at those services and it reminds me of what the core of the festival really is.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

Once you plow through that "holiday is driving me nuts" dreadfulness, it is wonderful to arrive at the other side--where you can actually ENJOY the holidays. Some of us never quite make it to the fun part, but let's all try for it this year. Take care!

I think that I spoke too soon on the hip :-)

The holiday becomes fun part should be starting at around 4pm when I get out of work. Possibly earlier if they decide to release us earlier, but definitely at 4pm. Wheeeeeee!
