selenayThe friend that I mentioned a a couple of weeks ago emailed back *GG* We have exchanged mobile numbers and it looks like we're going to be seeing how it goes - I'm very excited about this. There's so much to catch up on and I have no idea what she's like now or whether we'll be able to pick up our friendship, but I'll never know if I don't give it a try, right? And she won't have changed too much otherwise she wouldn't have made the effort to find me.

I'm still highly excited about this thing.
The rest of my day has gone surprisingly well, too. My car went away for a service and MOT and there hasn't been a call from the mechanic to announce that it needs horrendously expensive repairs, so that's a good thing. Did lots of relaxing, played around with a Teyla/Elizabeth wallpaper (will hopefully post it tomorrow) and got some work done on this website design. Feeling much happier about what I'm actually going to accomplish during my time off. I even took some samples of the tests that I'll be doing at an interview on Friday and...um...kinda aced them. Full marks. Verbal and numerical reasoning. So I guess that I'm smart enough - just gotta persuade them that I'm a great employee, too.
Watched the first L-Word disc last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of incredibly beautiful women having sex - what could I complain about? *eg* Couldn't decide between Marina and Jenny in the fanciable/crush stakes - Marina has that gorgeous, sexy low voice, but Jenny is the physical type that I'm more attracted to. Hmm.
There's always the both option, I guess.
Tonight is sitting around gossiping with a friend for the evening. Tried to pursuade her into pizza, but she's being all healthy before going on holiday. Guess I'll just have to eat that bacon and mushroom pizza all by myself then...
