OK, I'm hooked

So, hockeybosh and I watched episode 33 of Guardian last night which caused a lot of squee and HB has a talent for screencapping perfection and sending it to me, so that was a good time.

We came here for the professor/detective ship (which is *excellent*) and did not expect the angry-puppet-master/innocent-adorable-newbie ship, but we're here for it. We're happy. Episode 33 was excellent.

The remaining seven episodes are going to punish us for the joy by being EVEN MORE HEARTBREAKING than the first few minutes of episode 33, I'm sure.

In the course of squees and screencaps, somehow I ended up with notes for a fic. I'm blaming hockeybosh for this 100%.

I really should upgrade my DW account to allow for more icons if I'm going to be getting actively fannish again. Yes, that would mean having some Guardian icons :D

OMG I spent so much time screaming about angry-puppet-master/innocent-adorable-newbie. No one told me that was a thing and they are SO PRECIOUS! I think I cried over them as much as the main ship. No, that's a lie, but it was close! I love them and there is a sad lacking of fic for them.

hockeybosh and I did not deal well with the start of episode 33 purely because we were finally convinced Guo had died and Chu was sad and WE WERE SO UPSET BY THIS.

I mean, I knew I was going to cry over the main ship. I've gone in with my eyes open. But nobody told me the side ship would be so great and I'd fall for it so hard!

Oh god THAT episode! Yeah, that broke me! I was a wreck by the end of it. I hate that it gave us sad!Guo and then made it better with everyone finally getting rescued and looked after. It was a rollercoaster of emotions!

Total rollercoaster! By about ten minutes in, I was convinced there was no way this episode could end well for me. Not even if Zhao Yunlan finally rescued Shen Wei. AND THEN THERE WAS THE REST OF THE EPISODE. There was a lot of joyful squeeing :D

Again, not something I thought I'd say about an angry puppet master with a strong line in maniacal laughter. HOW?
