selenayI got my first fic translation request! Someone wants to translate Some Things Just Shouldn't Be Possible (which I may have forgotten to post here) into Chinese. It's very flattering :-D
Someday, someone will offer to podfic something that I've written and my squee will be supersonic.
5 Things is taking a brief hiatus so that I can write something else and try to get unstuck. It's working because I'm starting to figure out how to do Thing 4 without losing the funny, the hot or the coherent. So I should be raring to go...
...when I've finished writing crack fic about the Avengers and their PR manager. WTF, brain?
I am starting to think that my Tumblr is turning into a Jeremy Renner appreciation thing. There's nothing wrong with that, right?
Last night I saw Brave and I adored it to pieces. Itty bitty pieces. I am now torn between wanting to be Merida or CJ Cregg when I grow up. Apparently I have a thing for red heads as both role models (Merida, CJ) and crush material (Natasha Romanov).
It may explain a few things about my own hair. Huh.
Last night I also got to see the Hobbit trailer on a big screen and the only reason that I didn't squee out loud was because I was at the cinema with a group of over-40s women and they would have looked at me funny. Oddly, Mum and I did find something to agree on for once because she was as excited about the trailer as I was. Oh, mother, we cannot even agree on porridge and yet we both squee at hobbits. You are confusing.
There was also great excitement yesterday as we drove towards the restaurant where we were supposed to be eating and found it surround by fire trucks, police and an EMS truck.
Turns out, the BBQ place next door was getting a little too well done. At least it wasn't our Italian place!
