You know one of the worst times to get sick? Yup, when you're going to a convention in four days *sigh* Went to bed feeling a little off, shivery and slightly naseaous, woke up with a sore throat that feels worryingly swollen and much more nauseaous. Looks like I'm on a liquid diet today - couldn't actually swallow cereal this morning. Family rule is that if you can't eat brekkie, you can't go to work. So I'm home. Annoyed. Grouchy. Ill. Hoping like hell that this clears up in a day so that I'm fresh and fit for Redemption.

Guh. Looks like I've got some free time to catch up on back-logged Stargate again. Maybe work on Serpent. Curl up next to a radiator with a book. Try not to fret about the liquid diet thing and concentrate on healing up.
