Not another one...
Jan. 24th, 2005 10:34 pmA couple of years ago one of my good friends discovered that she had a faulty heart and went through major surgery to fix it. Twice. She still needs another round of surgery, but she's slowly getting stronger.
So guess what we discovered today? Another close friend...may have a faulty heart *sigh* Her doctor detected an irregular heart beat during a check-up for a chest infection last week and booked her for an ECG tomorrow. Not to be alarmist, but this is almost exactly how the other friend's heart problem was discovered.
Why two of them? It was hard enough the first time around and now that we all know what can go wrong (because it did for Friend1), Friend2 gets to be worried and know that heart problems don't always go the right way.
</ whine>
Bad day. And I'm coming down with a cold, which I *so* can't afford at the moment. Damnit.
