Interviews are evil and nerve-wracking. But at least it's over :-)
I like the sound of what the company is doing and where they're moving towards - I think the technical side would suite me perfectly - and the people seem friendly. It sounds like I'd get a fair bit of responsibility early on (eep!), but that would be a good thing on my CV and it would be good to get stuck in immediately. Technically, I think that I'm on a level with what they're doing so it wouldn't be too much of a learning curve. I hope.
They're going to come back with a decision by the end of the week. I've said that I'd be interested in taking the job if asked and I'm fairly sure that I would. Talking to them and to some of the staff has helped me to feel a little less conflicted about that side of things.
How did it go? I'm not sure. I answered their questions as best I could, but I'm sure that I didn't sound as proficient as I am. Urk. I have no idea how they felt about me and I know that they have several other candidates.
On the up side, even even I don't get this it's been good experience and I'll know for the next interview what to expect and what kind of questions they'll shoot at me. At least I'll be able to prepare a little better for that and hopefully sound slightly more intelligent :-)
And now to return to the job application trawl for an hour before taking the afternoon off. I may try to rewatch 'The Eye' at last. I want to write. And I'd like to read a bit of fanfic. That sounds like the best afternoon to unwind from a stressful morning :-)
