Ever have one of those days where you've done a lot but it doesn't feel like you've done a lot? I'm having one of those days. I'm oddly restless, despite taking a long walk this afternoon, and I've got a fair bit of my PHP book read, some writing done and varous chores finished, yet I feel like the day hasn't been productive.
This could be my post-college blues kicking in. Or possibly I could be tired. Guh.
I worked on Mage Murders this morning:
Words handwritten today: 1,250 approx
Total words handwritten: 21,750 approx.
I'm on course for smashing the 30K mark by January. I'm mostly happy with what I wrote today, but it's definitely a section that needs serious polishing when I type up. It's getting to the nitty-gritty of the murder plot-line, which is complicated to write and I know that I'm getting too caught up in the details. Just got a couple more pages before I can write some fun stuff for the Medreth/Y'Pennf storyline and then I'll feel happier about it. I'm so shallow :-)
I think that I need to rewatch 'Home' before I write the next Teyla/Weir thing. Atlantis is far too obessession-inducing because I should really be writing Inner Voices rather writing Atlantis snippets. Damn you, shiny new fandom.
