Are subject headers really necessary?
Jan. 6th, 2009 11:31 amThis morning was a little weird, but I remembered how much quicker it is to get out of the house without my family around so I'm starting to feel OK about all this.
Then I walked into work and discovered that my cubicle has been partially dismantled.
Now I have been disliking the loneliness of cubicle life, so losing a wall isn't entirely bad. But the problem is...my coat hook has gone! I've been really enjoying being able to hang up my coat rather than draping it over the back of a chair and rolling over the hem all the time. I'm actually surprised by how much this has annoyed me considering what a tiny thing this is.
Ah, well, my entire cubicle is being ripped down at the end of the next week for the office move so I'll cope. Wonder what my new cubicle will be like?
In other news, I really need to get out at lunch and buy a new pet carrier. I adore my girls intensely, but it's time to admit that they're too big to share a carrier. We'll need a carrier to get them to the vet and back tomorrow for their spaying, the poor loves. I'm thinking about buying a larger one than I already have to give Annie some growing room :-)
Tonight I must be firm with myself and take down the little artificial tree in the downstairs living room no matter how sparkly and pretty it is. I must. And I need to be in bed nice and early because fatigue does not get better when one keeps going to bed too late!
