I have just done the scariest thing ever in my life.
I bought my one way plane ticket to Canada.
9th August. Let the count-down begin.
Just because I'm paranoid, I've sent an email to the Canadian High Commission to verify that they're really really, one hundred percent, completely and totally, utterly sure that I have all the necessary paperwork that I'll need to emigrate to Canada. Because obviously there is a tiny part of me that is still expecting that someone will turn around and tell me that I'm in fact not allowed to do it and will kick me out of the country as soon as I arrive.
I mean, full citizenship, passport, Social Insurance Number and voting record should really be enough, but it never hurts to be over prepared.
It's really going to happen :-)
