Pick a fandom you know I know about, and I’ll tell you:
1. The first character I first fell in love with
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
6. The character I would shag anytime
7. The character I’d want to be like
8. The character I’d slap
9. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I despise

Miles. I started reading these with Warrior's Apprentice and absolutely adored the way that a simple trip to Beta seemed to snowball into something huge and it all centred around Miles being Miles.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Ivan. The first time I met him he was Ivan the Idiot. Now he's still that idiot Ivan but he's surprisingly lovable and completely loyal to Miles.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
Um, probably Mark. I don't hate him, but I don't have the Mark love that so many other people have.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Are there any hated Vorkosigan characters out there that actually have enough redeeming qualities to make me like them? Um, no.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
Bothari. At first I thought that he was redeemable and potentially a great character. Except he, er, was a sadistic rapist and never really got past that.
6. The character I would shag anytime
Cordelia. Nuff said.
7. The character I’d want to be like
Again, Cordelia. Totally.
8. The character I’d slap
Toss up between Mark (for reasons stated above) and Miles' Barrayan grandfather (name escaping me for the moment) for the times when he stops being stubborn, cool and sweet and goes stubborn, cool and stupidly prejudiced.
9. A pairing that I love
Aral/Cordelia. Or possibly Miles/his wife (name escaping me again).
10. A pairing that I despise
LMB generally creates pairings that I adore to pieces. Although I have seen Miles/Mark fics around and that is something that I simply can't cope with.

I'm quite thankful I've not been near Vorkosigan fic and so I didn't know about Miles/Mark. It doesn't surprise me, though, but I certainly have no wish to read it.

Ah. Logically, it should be Harry: he was the first real character to be established and I adored him quite quickly. However, it was Sirius that sealed the Potter love so I suppose it was Sirius that really made me fall in love.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Hermione. She started out as the irritating, overly bookish kid who always seems to be showing off how clever she is. Over the course of seven books she grown and showed so many other sides to her personality that she's now one of my favourites.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
Severus Snape. No, even with book seven's revelations, he's a character that I like and I was happy with his backstory, but I just don't get the Snape love. Sexy Snape? Please may I now vomit.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Hmmm. There doesn't seem to be a universally loathed character in the Potterverse.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
Draco. I held out hopes that he'd get a bit of redemption in book seven, and instead he just snivelled a lot. Grrr.
6. The character I would shag anytime
Um, none of them. Except maybe a very post-Hogwarts Hermione. But really none of them.
7. The character I’d want to be like
McGonagall :-) Or maybe Molly Weasley, purely due to her fight with Belatrix. But mostly McGonagall because she rocks.
8. The character I’d slap
Draco. Quite snivelling.
9. A pairing that I love
Sirius/Remus.
10. A pairing that I despise
Draco/Hermione. Even leaving aside the racism issue, Hermione is far too smart to be taken in by him.
