LJ a no-no

selenayMy work IT guys have finally worked out that they ought to be blocking LJ. Heh. So I no longer have LJ access during the day.
Guess I'll just have to resurrect the posting via email concept! To ensure everyone knows that I am alive...

I'm thinking about replicating things on LJ over on a WordPress blog just in case. Not that I think that LJ will ever bump me (they'd need to be on a rampage for really, insanely tame stuff) but it seems like a good idea. So I'll be looking into that over the weekend.
The whole no LJ at work thing has actually got me writing instead. I've got to do something to pass the time when I've overloaded the data warehouse with queries and I don't dare set off anything else in case smoke starts appearing from the computer! It's original fic, though, and not something that I've been writing before. I think that I need to dust off the next Teyla/Weir fic, so that I'm writing things that might actually go somewhere. Hmmm.
