I can has house!

As of 12pm today, I am a home owner! I have the key!

The movers for the couple I'm buying from accidentally packed the spare keys with the kitchen stuff when they were doing the packing on Friday or Saturday, so they're going to drop those with the agent when they unpack (hopefully tomorrow). For now, the set of keys they were using was posted through the letterbox after they locked up, so I should find them on the doormat when I get in. The key I have is the front-door key the agent had when they were doing the viewings. Oh, well, that's a fairly minor thing if that is the only unexpected and awkward thing!

Just got to finish my working day (at my parents' house, round the corner from my new house :D) before I can go round and start checking things over. There are meters to read, measurements to take for curtains and furniture planning for the move day, potential repainting and cleaning to assess...

Is it nearly the end of the day yet? Now? Now? Yeah, I'm excited to go and see my lovely new house :D
