In which I plan treats

Today is Humira day. It is both yay-ful and ouch.

I am now starting the pre-mother panic cleaning. Tonight I am restricting myself to just vacuuming upstairs, then dust-mopping the hardwood floors upstairs and washing the kitchen floor. Yesterday I cleaned my bathroom to within an inch of its life. Thursday or Friday evening, it will be the downstairs bathroom and vacuuming everything down there. I can predict that I will be doing all of it all over again on Saturday and quite possibly some of it will be done again on Sunday. Yup, I am approaching full-on crazy cleaning due to the impending arrival of my mother. It's possible that I'm overreacting...

I'm disabling anonymous commenting on LiveJournal. For the last few weeks, I've been getting several pieces of spam every day and LJ doesn't give me the option of marking anonymous comments as spam, only ones from registered users. Nope, that is not helpful at all. As screening anonymous comments doesn't seem to help, I'm disabling them entirely. There is only so many times that I can wade through deleting everything.

I've been watching Mad Men S1 on DVD for the past few evenings. It's thoroughly brilliant, but not something that I can really be mainlined the way some things are. So tonight, I'm hitting up Netflix again. Possibly watching the next part of House of Cards or, if there is time, I might try a film. It seems like lately, the only times that I've watched films is at the cinema. And Netflix has quite a few things that I want to see.

If I have two hours free after exercise, cleaning, supper and Humira, it's a film definitely. Possibly with Haagen-Dazs.
