Stuff and other things
Feb. 7th, 2007 10:00 amMy first meeting of the day has been cancelled, so I suddenly don't have the things to do that I thought I would. Instead I will be working on something that has been at the bottom of my list for weeks even though it's something that I think really needs doing. And prepping for this afternoon's meetings, of course.
And I definitely Do No Have A Cold.
This morning I went out to the car, got the engine going and the heating on before going around with the scraper to de-ice. Couldn't work out why I got so cold doing this and why the car windows didn't seem to be de-steaming or even having the ice soften from the heater. When I got back in the car, I realised that it -7C according to the thermometer, which may explain why the heater was struggling and my feet got so cold. I must remember to wear boots with a proper thickness of sole tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, the forecasters currently say that I'll be going nowhere due to blizzard conditions! So it remains to be seen whether I'll be at work or not. Can't imagine what I'd be hoping... ;-)
