The weekend so far

historyterry for coffee, which is always fun. I also bought a converter so I can play my iPod in the car and a lovely new Parker rollerball pen that is gorgeous (and should be significantly less prone to breakage than ballpoints!).
This led to the afternoon, which has been spent getting sorted out for college because my course material arrived this week. For fellow OUers curious about the course, I'm doing L120. The next French course. Ack! It looks terrifying right now, but hopefully will be less scary when I get into it. I've marked all the important dates in my new Tolkien diary (beautiful Alan Lee illustrations), read through the course notes and had a flick through the books. Should be able to get started tomorrow and make up for the weekends that I'll lose to conventions in February :-)
We're being very brave and experimental tonight. We've ordered pizza (I've had cravings for the last three days) and experimented with on-line ordering of pizza. It's arrived, so our order did make it there. Now to find out whether it's actually the right order...
I also went on a userpics blitz and found lovely new DW and TW icons. Hence the lovely Jack/Jack icon :-)
And I rewatched The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances last night because they are fab and I really needed to re-watch the sonic screwdriver discussion ;-)
