Still icky
Jun. 23rd, 2005 06:45 pmNo archery today. When the thermometer reads 30C, you know that it would be a really daft idea to stand in a field for two hours. Today is much worse than yesterday and booking a flight to the Artic Circle sounds very appealing right now.
Why yes, I don't like hot weather. Whatever gave that away?
Nattered with the girls at dinner last night and discovered that one has become a bit of a Doctor Who fan - and a bit more of a Captain Jack fan :-) I've promised to forward her any articles or interviews that I stumble across. She's slightly disappointed to discover that JB is gay, but rather happy about the bi status of Captain Jack. ( Cut for Parting of the Ways spoiler ) It's always good to discover that you can talk about some of these things at a curry house in your local town.
I did feel a little sorry for the waiters. The conversations kept ending up in the gutter no matter how hard we all tried. And yes, that is unusual with that group. Must be the heat :-)
I need to make myself a decent Captain Jack icon. Or two. Or ten.
