So I'm feeling a little icky, a little shivery, a little headachey...and hoping like hell that this isn't the start of a cold. Bleh.
I had lots of plans for things that I was going to do this afternoon. Did I do any of them? Pfft. I really need to start typing up all the stuff that I've been writing. I've got one of the notebooks open in front of me but I just keep finding other things to do. Where has all that marvellous self-discipline that kept my plodding on with course work gone?
terrylbirch helpfully suggested 'Ruminations' as a domain name, but it's sadly been taken :-( randomruminations.co.uk, however, hasn't been taken. Except that it might be too long. OTOH, I can do lots of cool things with RR as a logo for invoices and headed notepaper etc.
Oh, the stress of life as a webdesigner :-)
Oddly, I had a call from an agency who had seen my CV on a job website. They were offering me a job. Did they not notice that I was listing my targeted jobs as "web developer" and "software developer"? 'Cos the job was...as a purchase ledger clerk. Second time in a week that someone has tried to offer me a posting in purchase ledger. They all seem very disappointed that I'm trying to get out of accounts. Is there that big a shortage of skilled accounts people on the job market?
