Why college is fun (not)

I have spent the day buried in extremely dull documents on software requirements, so my brain has started to go fuzzy. On the upside, I have actually got some documentation started on my research project. On the downside, I have a lot more documentation to write and only two weeks before I need to submit an assignment with a lot of it in. This is on top of the assignment in one of my other courses that involves an essay on video streaming and a whole bunch of network simulations. Guh.

At least the paper I was writing yesterday got submitted. That's one out of the way.

I really wanted to spend the afternoon reading fanfic because Lobelia Sackville-Baggins has two new parts of Code of the Brandybucks up at West-of-the-Moon and I've been trying to find time all week to read them. College, though, seems to feel that learning stuff is more important. Maybe I can make it my treat tomorrow afternoon. An afternoon of hobbity goodness as a reward for a week of SQL, Java, UML and hex. My life gets more exciting by the day ;-)
