It's one of *those* days again

As is traditional, today is turning into a minor (possibly major) disaster and I've only been at work for an hour. The data warehouse has done its usual job of not working correctly (batch loads finished an hour late, delaying users' ability to report anything...), the mainframe is being flakey and it's our year end roll-over this week so we're currently keeping our fingers crossed that reports work. Yay.

I am definitely not getting out of here at a sensible time.

It's entirely possible that I will be spending today drinking lots of calming herbal tea and consuming rather a lot of chocolate. While working like a mad woman as soon as I have some data to actually analyse. Wooo.
