At least it's nearly the weekend...

selenayI managed to find a rather large traffic queue this morning thanks to a crash on the motorway, so I was in the car for two hours and rather late to work. Yurg. This means that I have no lunch break today if I want to get out of here at a sensible time. The tone of the remaining work week seems to have been set yesterday when I walked into the office to face mass-disaster due to huge system outtages, and it's just continued.
However, I did have some code fun this morning in the process of turning a tracker from a trial version to a small distrbution list to a company-wide version. I'm not afraid to admit my geekiness :-)
The last couple of days have been mainly recovery from Redemption and trying to watch all the things I've put on Sky Plus over the last couple of weeks. I'm an episode behind with Heroes, Atlantis and ER but that's about it. And I really shouldn't have watched the rugby match from the weekedn because it was painful. But the Oscars were fun with the odd surprise and a few non-surprises. Helen Mirren looked fabulous :-)

I'm going to refrain from any rants about people not putting big spoilers behind lj-cuts in Atlantis communities but I will bobble a little because it's looking like 31st March may be the date for Doctor Who :-)
