Half way through the week
Oct. 25th, 2006 10:40 amI think this week will be largely about staying awake long enough to get to the weekend. Travelling is exhausting!
Yesterday we had a two hour power-cut at work, which always makes the day more fun. Somehow, most of my reports went out on time despite this and I managed to stay miraculously calm. This was, I think, mainly because I'm too tired to be anything except calm :-)
Today I have some fairly dull projects, but at least it's something to do until I have my catch-up meeting with the manager this afternoon and get landed with dozens of things to do.
The parents got back just before I left this morning, which was nice. They're looking exhausted as well and Mum made a bee-line for bed. The house will feel less empty with them around and I'll be able to start adjusting to being home properly.
Is it time to go home yet?
