selenayNever, ever use 'Find and Replace' when editing a fic because you end up with things like Jack inappopriately calling my lovely Sam 'Sam' instead of 'Carter'. I think he's called her 'Sam' maybe twice in the entire show history and therefore I feel rather stupid. alicambs went above and beyond her beta role in spotting it after publication, for which I am very thankful. Five Things That May Never Happen To SG-1 has now been fixed and a mental note has been made. D'oh!
In other news, the cat is freaked beyond belief. It's been possibly one of the worst days for him:
1. The window-cleaner came, which is always a bad thing for him because he gets terrified.
2. He got put in the cat-carrier. Cue yowling.
3. He went to the vet's where there were also dogs. And he was still in the cat carrier.
4. The vet made him eat a worming tablet.
5. The vet trimmed his claws.
6. The vet stuck him with needles.
7. The vet put him back in the cat-carrier.
8. He got home and got out of the cat-carrier....and a massive storm began with much thunder and lightening. Cue hiding.
9. Mom began vacuuming. Upstairs. Where he was hiding.
Poor cat.
I have a report plan for my research project! I have outlines written for a major section! I have thought about writing the first draft of that section! Go me :-) That draft does have to be submitted by Friday...
